Pastors' KC and Gail came to us (by miracle) December of 2019. Both Pastor's KC & Gail have been together for 42 years; they have three wonderful adult children and are proud grandparents. Both met in Bible College and have been in ministry together for 40 years. Their core beliefs are reflected here at Southside Christian...
* The Bible is the Word of God.
* God is Creator, and everything came into existence by the power of His Word.
* Jesus is the Son of the Living God, the Word that became flesh. Salvation is only in, by, and through Him; not because we say it, but because He said it. (John 14:6).
* The Holy Spirit is the very presence of Jesus Himself living in the believer, who operates and regenerates us as Christians by His power and giftings.
* The Church is composed of born-again believers, who've confessed Christ, repented for Christ, been baptized in Christ, and commissioned by Christ.
* Jesus Christ is coming back, and it is getting quicker and quicker in taking place; not because we say it, but because He promised it.

We meet, worship, and study together in order to better know Jesus and His plan for our lives.

who we are
People have asked, "What denomination is your church?" Well, in all reality, we are a non-denominational church. In other words, we have no outside affiliation or connection with a hierarchy. We're just independent Believers in Jesus.
Our name pretty well sums it up in regards to who we are as a church: Southside. Christian. Church.
Southside... That's our location in which we meet, the "south side" of the city of Council Bluffs, Iowa.
Christian... That's who we are. We don't claim to be the only Christians, we're just wanting to be Christians only. We Believe in Jesus as the CHRIST, therefore we are CHRISTian.
Church... That's when we gather as Christians all together, fellowshipping in Jesus' name. The word "church" just simply means "a body of people; and/or fellowship." We get together on a regular basis to fellowship with one another and celebrate Jesus. For us, it's all about Him, JESUS!
